Stages of Interior design
The Five Stages of Interior Design include:
Concept Development
The first stage, where the designer develops a preliminary design concept that meets the client's needs after a brief duscussion of funtion, budget, timeline and steps.
Design Development
A creative, problem-solving phase where the designer develops a comprehensive design solution and space plans.
Schematic Design
A collaborative phase where the designer creates a design schematic to help the client envision the room and pictures specific pieces.
Design Proposal
The designer presents the concept of the future design in mood boards, sketches, elevation plans, samples and in my case, Old School Powerpoint.
Construction
The most time-intensive phase, where any construction or renovation work takes place, if necessary. If not, ready...set...go!
