The September full moon, better known as the harvest moon, reaches peak illumination this weekend. But unlike most full moons, the harvest moon is famous for hanging around. For several nights in a row, it rises shortly after sunset, creating the impression that the moon is shining brightly night after night. That unusual timing is what makes the harvest moon one of the year's most anticipated skywatching events. Here at Bassett King of Prussia, customers can hunt and order their custom furniture by September 27th for motion/reclining items and October 4th for all other categories and receive it before Thanksgiving (as long as all fabrics, leather and components are available.) As consumer sentiment is focused on gathering with friends, family and entertaining this is an excellent opportunity to suggest a room refresh, highlighting the artisan story of our custom collections featured during the Anniversary sale.Ask about our Interest free Financing. Mid-century modern is a style of design that was popular in the mid-twentieth century. Characterized by clean, simple lines and lack of embellishment, it was a refreshing break from more detailed, carved styles. MCM was embraced throughout the World but gained most of it's popularity in North America, Brazil and Europe from about 1945 to 1970. Well guess what, MCM is experiencing a resurgence and Bassett King of Prussia is representing well. And, it is on sale. Dining, Living, Bedroom and Occassional pieces can be applied completely or sparingly to existing furnishings to offer a clean line to your spaces. Stop in, call or email me. I may be the only one who tends to hit the rewind button this time of year, but I have a sneaking suspicion that I am not alone. I very recently learned that my only child/adopted Mom had an older brother three years her senior and probably never knew that he existed. Even more illuminating, he and his mother (who would have been my grandmother) lived less than ten minutes away from me in my twenties and early thirties. I wish that I could find photos because there's a good chance that I cut one or both of them off in the grocery store line or in busy traffic. Bassett Furniture has been around since 1902 and has kept with the times throughout its' history. Quality, variety and a strong reputation are the main part of our success. Whatever Holiday you celebrate, please keep in mind that we are all in this together. I enjoy working her because of the aforementioned stats and also because virtually all walks of life stop into the King of Prussia location. We invite you to do the s...

The Harvest Season is the time of year when crops are gathered, which marks the end of the growing season and is often celebrated with festivals. We can also see this Season as a time to prepare for Holidays by replacing or touching up Living Spaces in preparation for welcoming friends, family both human and furry. Choose from a large selection of Performance Fabrics and protected leathers and woods but also keep in mind that coasters are not only functional, they add a layer of grace to place settings.
